Wildfire

At this JW Marriott club, both Nick Faldo and Arnold Palmer designed a fantastic 18-hole desert course. The Palmer course is longer and a bit more challenging. The Faldo course has bountiful fairways with bunkers. Whichever course you choose, you’ll be sure to have an enjoyable game!

 

Troon North

Troon North is an amazing golf course carved out of the desert by Tom Weiskopf. The ingenious design of the Monument and Pinnacle courses and its stunning views with pristine greens account for its high satisfaction ranking in the state!

 

Papago

Papago is an exceptional city-owned course. It was designed by Billy Bell in 1963. In 2008 it received an update costing $5.8 million. Voted the Valley’s best municipal course, it hosted an LPGA championship in 2009. Recently, it’s as stunning as the views of the Papago Buttes!

 

Verrado Golf Club
With its wide fairways and mostly flat terrain, the Verrado Golf Club, designed by Tom Lehman in the West Valley desert at the base of the White Tank Mountains, is a site to behold! Though the Victory Course and the Founder’s Course have fairly even layouts, there are still some elevation changes and wash areas to keep golfers on their toes!

 

We-Ko-Pa Golf Club

With giant Saguaros and mountain views, gentle rises and dips in elevation mark the fairways at the We-Ko-Pa Golf Club. Golfing on the Cholla Course or the newer Saguaro Course will make players feel they are far from civilization.

 

Arizona Biltmore

You’ll be in good company at the Arizona Biltmore! Presidents, Hollywood stars, and VIPs have all played these fairways. This Central Phoenix golf club was created by William Wrigley Jr. Players can choose between the Adobe course or the Links course, which offers breathtaking views of the Downtown Phoenix skyline from the 15th hole.

 

Lookout Mountain Golf Course

Lookout Mountain Golf Course at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort offers exquisite views of both the cliffs and Piestewa Peak. All golfers will love this course! Additionally, 12 holes on this course play through preservation land. This treats golfers to uninterrupted views all around.

 

Westin Kierland

Containing three Scott Miller-designed nine-holed courses, the modern golfer will love the option to ride on a Segway or TurfRider. The Westin Kierland is also the center of shopping and dining in Scottsdale!
